Christians Arrested in China
INTERNATIONAL NEWS

Pastor "Ezra" Jin Mingri of the underground Zion Church in Beijing, China, was apprehended on October 10, 2025, along with 20 of his congregants and several other pastors across the country. Pastor Mingri was arrested on suspicion of operating illegal information networks and may also face criminal charges for illegal dissemination of religious information via the internet. It is also assumed that several other pastors associated with Zion Church in other locales may receive identical charges.
Pastor Mingri launched Zion Church in 2007 which grew to around 1,500 congregants prior to being disbanded by Chinese authorities in 2018. Pastor Mingri then began to lead online church services which experienced immense growth having over 10,000 congregants over 40 cities.
Out of our love for Christ and one another, let us be in prayer both near and far for our brothers and sisters who are in the midst of persecution for their faith in Christ and bringing others into the knowledge of Christ. Pray that God may administer His comfort to these Christians and their families during this time and that these events will cause more to come to know Jesus inside and outside of the Chinese government.
"Let brotherly love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body." Hebrews 13:1-3
